Happy Belated Birthday, Bo!

Yesterday was Bo's first birthday and I totally planned to do a post about his party, but we were - and still are - all under the weather. So instead of working, repotting my so-sad aloe, and making Bo's birthday extra special, I spent most of yesterday down on the floor with him trying to figure out how to soothe him to sleep.

We cuddled in bed, where he dozed off but of course his eyes flew open the second I put him down. We cuddled in the rocker. I wrapped him up in the Calin Bleu and let him pull my hair. I bundled him in the stroller bunting and rolled him around the neighbor. In the end I think he slept for about 15 minutes total over the course of the day.

BUT...

It's okay because his birthday party came and went and was awesome. First, it was warm. Like t-shirt warm. And we had a bouncy house since most of the kids at the party were actually P.'s friends. Bo loved his cupcake and his presents and was his usually charming self the whole day even though he's still cutting multiple teeth!
